Permission is required to dive here - This is an MOD site The original dive centers that were based here went out of business. Fort Bovisand is now under the control of the Royal Navy and is officially closed to civilians. However a new diving operation "Discovery Divers" is in the process of installing new facilities for 2005! To dive here contact Danny on 07739-567752 - Discovery Divers From the Kingsbridge / Plymouth road take the well signposted turning for Wembury + Bovisands. Follow the road down towards the village of Wembury and Fort Bovisand is well signposted. When you get to the coast drive past the brightly painted cafe and through the entrance to the MOD site. The Harbour is at the bottom of the road and there is a fair amount of parking available |

As of February 2005: A new dive center is being
fitted out there will soon be a cafe and other facility's available This site is probably the ultimate training site - An attractive harbour with great visibility at high tide. There is a wreck that is completely submerged at high tide but can be seen for planning at low tide! |
