The village of Branscombe is picturesquely strung along the side of a deep valley. You drive down the winding valley road until you reach the carpark |

Site Description |
|
Several low "Seaweed reefs" run parallel to the beach starting at about 50m from shore. The further out (upto 500m) the bigger the reefs. Long surface swims are the order of the day! The beach in is in a very pretty location and facilities are good Care must be taken as there can be quite strong currents running along the beach |

Wheelchair access is almost difficult. the beach slopes quite steeply |

In the main car park - The council is planning to close them and there is a campaign to keep them open |

The remains of the “Napoli” can still be seen – However most of the boat is now in Ireland. It is very unlikely that you will be able to dive near the wreck as there is a exclusion zone around it. If anyone has dived it please contact us – macro@eclipse.co.uk |
